I grew up as a poor kid. Welfare. Food stamps. Free lunches. Donated Christmas gifts. The whole sha-bang.
I can remember when I was about ten-years-old, my two-year-old sister April and I were home alone. And hungry. When I went to the refrigerator, all that was in there was about a third of a pack of Fun Dog Franks. No ketchup. No mustard. At the time, I didn’t think much of it because it wasn’t unusual.
Fast forward 34 years.
I’m just now realizing how those early experiences so deeply shaped my attitude toward and thoughts about moola.
I know I’m not alone with having some lingering money bullshit.
Money is one of those universal hot buttons, y’know.
It’s for that exact reason that I invited Financial Planner Jackie Mazur to be a guest on the Show this week.
You can find Jackie at GuideMyFinances.com
NOTE: this is an episode of a live show that was on Facebook, but has since moved to being a podcast.

Yeah she has all the highly fancy and impressive financial education and qualifications, but what I love about her is that she’s unusually smart as a whip and goddamn clever as a fox. She considers the big picture and all the affects of decisions and money moves while she does her magic money work.
